Development Director
Job Description.
Responsible for implementing fundraising initiatives, initiating donor visits, grants, special events and planned giving.
Must be computer savvy and literate on all windows based programs as well as a full working knowledge of all office based programs. Donor Perfect experience a plus.
Grant Writing
Knowledge and experience in fund raising, fundraising techniques, particularly major gift fundraising.
Strong interpersonal and writing skills.
Organized and exhibit “follow through” on tasks and goals.
A self-starter and goal driven to initiate donor visits and fundraising calls.
Knowledge of peculiarities of pledges, soft credits, restricted gifts, auction donations/purchases, in-kind gifts, and stock donations.

Required Qualifications.
Five years fundraising experience
