Quad Cities Interfaith seeks to fill a position of Lead Organizer. The Lead Organizer is responsible for working with institutional leaders to: Structure a leadership driven organization, manage, and strengthen leaders (an individual who is invested within the organization and will carry out actions for the community). Raise a full annual budget that supports organizers and the work of the organization. Build a leadership development culture and have experience in training leaders. Recruit due paying congregations and other institutions for membership. Design a strategic plan that leads people into the public world to take action on issues that impact them and their communities. Organize large public meetings where leaders hold policy makers accountable. Do all of the above effectively to assure the leaders win!

We seek highly skilled individuals with community organizing experience or have experiences that are described above. Candidates are required to be self-confident, have curiosity about the world, have capacity to work in diverse environments, committed to the transformation of individuals and institutions, committed to social justice and with the capacity to explain why.
