Legislative & Policy Advisor
Job Description.
As a legislative and policy advisor, this position will work with policy and program staff to develop the commission's analysis, the fiscal and policy impact of legislation, and our positions on bills.
Required Qualifications.
Excellent communications skills, the ability to coach and mentor staff, and the ability to work with individuals at all levels. Ability to clearly articulate policy choices and decisions to a wide variety of audiences. Excellent writing skills.Demonstrated high-level research, analytical, and problem- solving abilities.The ability to respond resourcefully to new demands and challenges; is flexible and adaptable to changing organizational requirements.
