Policy advisor and Legislative Liason
Job Description.
Duties include but are not limited to coordination of the development and submission of the IDPH legislative package and budget requests; attendance at legislative committees, subcommittees and other meetings; review of complex state and federal proposed and enacted bills affecting the agency and communicating potential impacts to internal department staff, legislators and staff, as well as the Governor's office and other executive branch agency staff.
Required Qualifications.
Graduation from an accredited four year college or university and the equivalent of five years of full-time professional level experience such as program administration, development, management or operations;
