Executive Director - Sioux Falls Public Schools Education Foundation Essential Functions and Duties Lead efforts of the Sioux Falls Public Schools Education Foundation to achieve a strategic vision and grow the grant programs by raising funds from businesses, individuals, and special events. Create a strong fundraising message that appeals to potential donors and raises community awareness of the Foundation’s mission. Build relationships with key stakeholders to maintain and grow donor base. Collaborate with the Foundation’s Board to create a fund development plan. Identify and develop corporate and individual prospects for the organizations fundraising priorities. Implement the fund development plan in accordance with ethical fundraising principles. Monitor and evaluate all fundraising activities to ensure that the fundraising goals are being achieved. Develop and manage timelines for fundraising activities to ensure strategic plans and critical fundraising processes are carried out in a timely manner. Administer the planning and execution of fundraising events as specified in the fund development plan. Deepen and refine all aspects of communication – from web presence to external relations – with the goal of creating a greater awareness of organization and mission. Coordinate the design, printing, and distribution of marketing and communication materials. Develop a comprehensive communication plan to promote the organization to its donors and maximize public awareness of the organization and its fundraising activities. Foster relationships with community stakeholders to advance the mission and fundraising goals of the organization. Maintain strong partnership with Sioux Falls School administration. Oversee the organization of the Foundation’s Board and Committee meetings. Work with Board to update strategic plan on an annual basis. Develop annual budget to support strategic plan initiatives. Supervise Foundation staff Establish and administer policies and procedures for all functions as well as day-to-day operations. Monitor financial performance. About the Sioux Falls Education Foundation The Sioux Falls Public Schools Education Foundation enhances academic opportunities and achievement for 24,000-plus Pre-Kindergarten through 12th grade students in the Sioux Falls School District by providing educational opportunities not funded by public tax dollars. The Education Foundation provides a practical way for families, alumni, businesses, School District employees, and other concerned citizens to make a long-term investment in the quality of Sioux Falls’ public schools and, ultimately, the future of our community’s children.

Bachelor's Degree. Non-profit management experience a plus. Marketing, public relations, and fundraising experience with the ability to engage a wide range of stakeholders.
