The Resource Development Manager is an exempt position reporting to the Director of Marketing and Community Relations. This position is responsible for assisting the Director to develop and implement annual fundraising and communication plans to ensure Central Florida Health Care achieves and exceeds its fundraising goals. The RDM will assist with fundraising initiatives including donor engagement and stewardship activities and will utilize the donor database to generate donor reports and help manage donor relations. The RDM will research, write and manage corporate and foundation grants and lead special event planning, implementation and follow up processes. RESPONSIBILTIES AND PERFORMANCE EXPECTATIONS include, but are not limited to, the following: Donor Support and Stewardship Participate with the marketing team and Chief Executive Officer and Chief Financial Officer to develop and implement annual fundraising plan and donor stewardship and solicitation plans and activities; Contribute to the development and maintenance of comprehensive annual calendar and corresponding activities for the department; Create written content and support internal and external communications for CFHC which highlights our story and engages the community. Will assist with representation of CFHC in the community and will help to build and maintain relationships; Will manage the donor database. Grant Writing and Grant Management Identify, pursue and obtain ongoing and new sources of community support from public and private organizations, faith communities and individuals; Manage grant writing research, activities and solicitation of grants and ensure timely and complete submissions; Coordinate with finance and program staff to assess agency needs for grant requests and develop grant budgets; Manage grant calendar, reporting and deliverables; Provide monthly reports which measure progress towards development goals Events Will assist with the management and staffing of cultivation and fundraising events; Working with director, will conduct, coordinate, manage and schedule other fundraising and donor related events targeting new friends and donors to Central Florida Health Care. Assist with facilitation of third party fundraising activities and assist community members to fundraise on behalf of CFHC. Work in conjunction with the Director to assist marketing and soliciting in-kind donations and in-kind donation drives on behalf of CFHC. Other Tasks Perform other duties as directed by the Director.

Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 4 years of experience in nonprofit fundraising or other related field. Other combination of education and experience will be considered;
Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, Adobe Creative, PowerPoint, and common social media platforms;
Knowledge and experience with donor database management systems such as Raisers Edge, Donor Perfect or eTapestry preferred;
Grant writing experience required;
Ability to accommodate a flexible schedule, including some nights and weekends, dependent on scheduled fundraising activities.
Bilingual a plus.
