Develop, execute and provide day-to-day management of Hazelden Betty Ford Foundation’s (HBFF) public policy strategy
Develop public policy strategy for HBFF
Execute federal and state public policy tactics
Establish and maintains key relationships at the federal and state level and
Serve as the organization’s government liaison to drive public policy initiatives and support business development strategies and tactics for the organization’s Strategic Business Units (SBUs).
Required Qualifications.

Bachelor’s degree in political science, public health or related discipline.
Five + years of experience in government affairs, public affairs, legislative affairs, corporate communications, or related field.
Strong written and verbal communications skills
Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively and independently
Knowledge of Twelve Step philosophy and addiction recovery
Knowledge of desktop publishing, web content development and production and social media content development and mechanisms
Demonstrated commitment to continuing education in the social media field
Preferred Qualifications.
Strong presentation skills and strong project management skills, political science background
