Field Organizers are key to the success of the 2018 Coordinated Campaign by creating and implementing a comprehensive field program in your region to maximize Democratic turnout and improve Democratic performance. Field Organizers autonomously build teams and motivate volunteers to register, call, and knock on the doors of voters to deliver the Democratic Party message. Field Organizers are the face of the campaign in your region, and will maintain positive relationships with local Democratic group leaders and volunteers. The desired candidates for the position are enthusiastic, have organizing, political, retail, or team leadership experience, and a strong passion for electing Democrats. Duties include but not are limited to: Work with the Regional Field Director to design and implement a field plan, hitting goals including: Door knocks; Phone calls; Volunteer recruitment and team building; Commit to vote card collection; Vote by mail/Permanent Early Voter List recruitment and follow-up; Recruit, train, and motivate volunteers and interns to achieve your goals; Build a long lasting volunteer infrastructure in your region by collaborating with volunteer leadership to plan campaign events; Meet daily reporting and data entry deadlines; Perform other duties as assigned.

General understanding of political campaigns and desire to learn more;
Highly organized with an ability to manage multiple ongoing projects;
Comfortable with computer technology, experience using VoteBuilder a plus;
Dedication to empowering volunteers to effect change in their community;
Ability to work long hours including nights and weekends on a regular basis;
A true self-starter who is a detail-oriented team player;
Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
Strong dedication to the values of the Democratic Party;
Access to reliable transportation required.
